FRESCO Dry Barn Hypoallergenic Menu Horse is suitable for adult dogs of all breeds and sizes who suffer from allergies and intolerances and should be fed with an Exclusion Diet. Only pure muscle meat of a single rare protein source is used in these menus in conjunction with a vegetable variety. As a result, the most common allergenic feed ingredients are avoided.

For a balanced nutrition supply, you should take turns feeding your allergic dog with our various hypoallergenic menus. Here you can choose between our Fertigbarf and Trockenbarf variants. You can also feed fruits and vegetables that you know your dog will not be allergic to. With our Barf supplement "Barfer's Best" you supplement the diet of your dog with vital nutrients.

Your dog is damaged not only by environmental influences, but increasingly by the ingredients in the feed. The preservatives, additives and chemical residues often contained therein may be responsible for diseases such as tumors, kidney and liver damage, musculoskeletal disorders, fertility disorders and allergies. Therefore, we have decided to do without any additives in our FRESCO dry bar food.

The production process of FRESCO dried BARF differs from all conventional "premium" dry food. Instead of extruding the ingredients under high pressure and high temperatures (pressure cooker), they are air-dried consuming and costly.

Modern dog nutrition focuses on variety. We have therefore developed a special menu for dogs with intolerances or allergies to certain ingredients as a supplement to our Trockenbarf Complete Plus. The basis is horsemeat as the only source of protein and Jerusalem artichokes as a rather uncommon vegetables.
Of course, the hypoallergenic menu can be supplemented in combination with other Trockenbarf varieties to dogs of all ages.

For the production of 1kg Trockenbarf-Menü we use about 4kg Complete Plus Fertigbarf-menu, because the moisture is almost completely removed by the drying.
This makes it easy to combine the Trockenbarf menu horse with other frozen Fertigbarf menus. Since it is the same food, a "feed change" is not necessary.

Feeding
recommendation You do not have to soak the FRESCO dry bar menu horse in water, you can feed it dry. Of course, your dog should always have enough fresh water available.

Our Trockenbarf contains about 507 kcal / 100g. As a guideline for the amount of feed for normally active, uncastrated healthy dogs (no matter if male or female) we recommend per day:

· adult dogs: approx. 0.8-1% of the body weight
· smaller breeds (up to approx. 15 kg) 1.3% of the body weight
· Puppies, young dogs and lactating bitches: approx. 2-3% of the current body weight

Important: From our high-energy dry food, which contains no poorly digestible fillers such as cereals, rice, potatoes, etc., your dog needs only about half as much as another extruded premium dog food (Wolf's blood, Real Nature, Eukanuba, etc.). Therefore, it is perfectly normal that your dog kotet only half, because the FRESCO Trockenbarf complete can be used and digested.

How can you determine the right amount of calorie every day? In the literature, there is a formula for calculating the Resting Energy Requirements (RER), ie energy consumption at rest or basal metabolic rate, for dogs between 2 and 45 kg.

What is in it and why?

Composition :

Horsemeat (30%)
The dog needs proteins to build up and maintain organs, muscles and enzymes. Meat is a good source of protein because it contains all the essential amino acids in the right proportion to each other and thus has a high biological value. In addition, meat contains iron, zinc, selenium and B vitamins.

Horse heart (30%)
Horse heart consists mainly of muscles, so meat. It is very high in protein and hardly contains any fat. It provides high quality biotin and potassium.

Jerusalem artichoke (30%)
Jerusalem artichoke has an optimal ratio of minerals contained in it, such as calcium, magnesium, phosphate, potassium and sodium. Furthermore, Jerusalem artichoke feeds beneficial bacteria in the gut. These are important for building a healthy intestinal flora.

Horse Breastbone Bones (8%)
Articular cartilage contains important natural calcium, iron, fats and enzymes.

Linseed oil (1.8%)
Important supplier of vitamin E, linoleic and alpha linoleic acids as well as essential fatty acids.

Sea Algae (0.2%)
