The main function of the kidneys is to detoxify the body naturally. In the case of kidney insufficiency (weak kidneys) this ability – depending on the extent of the damage – is only possible to a very limited extent. The products of the metabolic processes collect in the blood and put a strain on the organism.
Suitably adjusted feeding helps to protect the kidneys and reduce adverse effects on the organism. HAPPY CAT Premium-Diet Niere/Kidney has been specially developed as a complete food for cats with kidney insufficiency, but may also be fed to animals with heart disease and for the prevention of cystine and urate stones.
In addition to a greatly reduced protein, phosphorus, sodium and magnesium content, the unique Happy Cat LifePlus Concept also encourages organ function due to a specially composed mix of herbs. This tasty speciality is very well received even by picky cats due to the outstanding quality of the ingredients with a high proportion of natural taurine (1,400 mg/kg).
